Great video. As I rewatch these series over the years I have come to many of the same conclusions. These movies are absolutely a time capsule of their time and I think that alone is a treasure. Reunion is a shockingly good finale to the series, and I hope they leave it at that

Rockne is an absoliute genius. Fantastic interview! We all wish we could have had that 5th season, and maybe even more, but what this man and his team of creatives, not to mention one of the most perfect casts ever assembled, put on the screen for 4 seasons is nothing less than high art. It's a crime that the show wasn't more popular, but Farscape operates at a much higher frequency than the average viewer is equipped for. 😁The blessing and the curse of it, it seems. In any case, here's hoping some future live action incarnation of the Farscape world will appear somewhere in the not-too-distant future! 🙏😊

My mom was the one who introduced me to this movie when it was on tv one day. She saw it with a friend in the theater when it came out. Her and her friend were the only 2 laughing all the way through it. She never understood why most of the people didn’t get the humor of the movie. To this day I still will watch it at least once a year or so and I always introduce this movie to people I meet and work with.

This was just a fantastic series. One of those "once in a generation, near perfect" marvels that ages like fine wine. It effortlessly gets right , what so many projects gets wrong.Subbed.

As teen, I watched Scrubs when I got home from school. The George episode never got to me back then, but when I got into my 20s, after losing so much of my family, I saw that episode again, heard "I Will Follow You into the Dark," and cried out a little over 2 decades worth of held-back tears... It didn't feel good, I didn't feel relieved, I felt like I had just grieved for the first time in my entire life, and it was painful. I've had a bad relationship with death ever since. I don't fear it for myself, but for my family... And I guess that's all I have to say on the matter. Good vid. Thanks for reminding me about these moments.

I grew up in the 80s and loved ALF. I have the whole series on DVD and Project ALF, and yes, I still have my ALF stuffed animal. That being said, I don’t think a reboot or reimagining is necessary. ALF was a product of the 80s, and the 80s was a different time. I think they should leave it alone. Some things are just a product of the past.

The part when Ed Boon say there is some people who come too approach him about adding their character as a guest in MK - as far as I know, the devs behind Doom game was alright if MK want Doom Slayer in their game. Someone, I forgot whether it was the director himself or producer, state this on twitter and Ed Boon jokingly reply - "he is too violent for MK". And then we have Bayonetta, and this is the creator of the game himself want her to be in MK since MK11, and guess what he even tweet again when MK1 was announced that he still want to see Bayonetta in MK. I really-really hope Ed Boon and his team consider this, because imo a video games characters is a lot better to appear as guest in MK compare to all this movies characters. I know for sure people will love it as well. So far we only got Kratos as a video games character in MK.

Impossible not to be profoundly affected by this movie. The concentration camp tattoo on Maude's arm was the most powerful image. While never discussed in the movie, it went a long way in explaining Maude's character insofar as her appreciation of life.

love hearing your guys discussion about the show. I enjoyed it a lot. and despite the criticism that you can very obviously bring to the overarching story of all the star wars stories, I am thoroughly enjoying what they did here. especially as you mentioned as well, they tried or rather did (to stay in line with Master Yoda) something different here and it feels good to me. I am fine with people not liking it, or not enjoying it as much, but the extreme hate for the acolyte is by any metric just pure toxicity and has no merit what so ever imho. I also, ever since I got over the prequels way back when, am just so happy to get star wars things. and I appreciate when people try new things. I saw it as a depressed, undiagnosed autistic teenager and I felt like I finally found something I related to. That is rare. I hate that RUclips bans talk about suicide or other words, basically taking power away from people who need help. It's tough to find things to relate to, and it sucks when neurotypicals ban things that could help people and make them know they aren't alone. Yet, people like The orange clown running are allowed to be shown everyday. Makes no sense.
